地球静止轨道(GEO)
Geostationary orbit

Geostationary orbit refers to the orbit where the satellite is centered on the Earth's equator and takes the same time to rotate around the Earth as the Earth's rotation period. A satellite in this orbit appears to be fixed at a certain point in the sky, always above the same spot on Earth. This characteristic makes GEO satellites ideal for use in communications and meteorological observations, as they can provide continuous coverage and a stable signal. Communications satellites typically use GEO orbits to transmit television signals, Internet services, and other data because of their ability to cover large areas of the Earth's surface.

A solar synchronous orbit is a special polar orbit in which the plane of a satellite's orbit remains at a fixed Angle to the sun. This means that the satellite passes over the same spot on Earth at the same time every day, usually at the same moment of local time. This makes SSO satellites ideal for Earth observation and weather monitoring, as they are able to obtain data under the same light conditions, facilitating long-term environmental change monitoring. SSO orbits are widely used in meteorological satellites and remote sensing satellites

A famous example is the GPS system, which consists of 24 satellites that ensure that signals can be received anywhere on the globe. In recent years, as technology has advanced, low-Earth orbit constellations like SpaceX's Starlink are rapidly developing, aiming to provide high-speed Internet service worldwide.
